Today we are celebrating the Feast of the Annunciation.  This is when Mary gave her "fiat" ~ her yes.  This is when Mary said yes to God the Father through the Angel Gabriel and the WORD became flesh in her... when she became the Mother of God.

If you count ahead 9 Months ~ you get Christmas!  So this really is the Feast of the Incarnation. How awesome is that!!!

There's nothing that Jesus wouldn't do for His Mother. Today, go to Mary and us ask her for that special intention that we hold in the silence of our hearts.

Today is a major SOLEMNITY in the Church ~ so you are once again dispensed from whatever you gave up for Lent (for this day anyway).  Does Holy Mother Church know how to celebrate or what... If you don't want to celebrate the Incarnation ~ that's up to you... however you celebrate, enjoy the Incarnation!!
