The Catholic Ministries Appeal
(formerly Fruitful Harvest) kick-off date has
been changed to
October 10th & 11th
for the Muncie Pastorate. In September
you will receive an envelope in the mail from Bishop Doherty with a brochure explaining the many ministries supported by this important appeal, as well as a pledge card and return envelope for mailing. You can make your pledge starting in September.
Bring your completed pledge card to Mass the weekend of October 10th and
and place it in the box designated for the pledge.
You can also pledge online
directly through the diocese at
dol-in.org /cma starting September 1st.
If you do not receive a brochure and pledge card, you can pick one up on a table in the
church or at the parish office starting October 1.
The Appeal provides the opportunity for each of us within our parish to share in the good works of our diocesan family. By giving to the Catholic Ministries Appeal, you are helping to support programs across our diocese for our retired priests as well as new seminarians, for our youth, Newman Centers, deacons, prison ministry, pregnancy centers and so much more.
Our parish family has been asked to raise $257,223
. In order to reach our goal,
please consider a gift that can be paid over the next 16 months.
Here are the lists of the Diocesan Supported Ministries and Ministries to Parishes that are funded through the Catholic Ministries Appeal:
This appeal will run from September 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021. After that, future Catholic Ministries Appeals will be annual appeals that follow the calendar year.
